Adult Social Daycare Services is a structured, comprehensive program that provides functionally impaired adults (those who need help with everyday tasks) with an array of services in a protective setting for any part of the day, but for less than a 24-hour period. Each participant receives an assessment of the individual.
Caring for your elderly, physically frail and disabled loved ones can be a full-time job. GFASD can help. The GFASD program gives caregivers a much-needed break allowing you to go to work, run errands, or just relax while knowing your loved one is well cared for and safe.
Program Includes:
Supervision and monitoring Healthy meals and nutrition Socialization Recreational activities such as: Arts and crafts Musical entertainment and sing-a-longs Mental stimulation games such as Bingo Yoga, stretching and other gentle exercises Discussion groups (books, films, current events) Holiday and birthday celebrations Outside trips to community events Educational programs and lectures services in accordance with an individualized service plan
